Throughout the year, St. Petersburg Free Clinic needs to raise awareness and funds to support their programs, including a food bank, health services, and women’s residence to help those transitioning in recovery. St. Pete’s sought to bring about donor growth, and create moving and memorable fundraising campaigns.
We understood the macro fundraising perspective, and needed to weave in the reality of a 2020 that was unlike any year prior. We needed to craft St. Pete’s story and impact through COVID-19 and throughout the year, while asking for support from the community, and we had to strike a delicate balance. As we move out of the pandemic, the approach shifts to how we continue to engage first-time donors that were introduced to St. Petersburg Free Clinic last year, while nurturing their longstanding relationships in the community.
Sparxoo and St Pete’s collaborated on an integrated campaign which included direct mail, video, social, and email. With the mailers, we focused on how to stand out in someone’s mailbox. A printed photo book recapped St. Pete’s 50th anniversary, with a hard cover copy for key donors and a magazine layout for others.
St. Petersburg Free Clinic surpassed their fundraising goal for their fall campaign by nearly 10 percent. Their spring campaign has just launched, and is already seeing success.
