The Greater Tampa Chamber came to us with the challenge of refreshing their very established and traditional brand in the market. With all of the development going on in the Tampa area, they wanted to create the new Tampa Bay Chamber brand to be more indicative of region’s growth.
In a highly competitive RFP process with some of the top agencies in Tampa Bay and beyond, Sparxoo stood out in our approach by going further than most would have before Tampa Bay Chamber were even a client. Not only did Sparxoo do the research and understand all about the Chamber’s Vision 2026 project, but we also put ourselves into key personas, as we are business owners in Tampa. We came up with three categories of proposals that included logo development and ideas, the brand platform and a positioning statement, from evolutionary to revolutionary. This gave them an option that was closer to their existing brand, one that pushed well beyond the norm, and one that was a hybrid. With Sparxoo, Tampa Bay Chamber knew what they were getting because we had it ready to share.
We refined Tampa Bay Chamber’s brand platform, keeping it rooted in their audience, by helping define their ethos as an organization, positioning statement, their key differentiators, and personality and tone. We also created a new logo for the Chamber, along with a brand video by our Sparxoo Studios team.
In 2020, Tampa Bay Chamber was recognized by the Florida Association of Chamber of Commerce Professionals (FCAP) as the Chamber of the Year in their category.
